Jamie at home

This is based on a series of my favourite novels by Diana Gabaldon. I believe this image is from the second "Dragonfly in Amber." The scene is as follows: Jamie and his lover, Claire, are finally at his home Lallybroch. His sister, Jenny, just gave birth to a new baby, and this is the night she won't stop crying. Jamie gets up to take care of her. Claire, disturbed by his missing presence, quietly steps out into the hall to find Jamie and his niece sitting at the alcove window. This image has stuck with me for so long, i just HAD to get it down on paper.....

I'm going to give a try at playing around in photoshop with it, so we'll see how it all goes.
